Dreams & Ideals

This is my first post after a long absence due to my exams, during which I encountered various situations and arguments, one of which is dreams and ideals in life.

I read through certain biographies and interact with people of different mind states of whom I divide as technical and artistic or as Robert Pirsing classifies them as Classical Thinkers and Romantic Thinkers.

What's interesting with these different thinkers is their perception of life. A classical thinker tends to see something as it is like in Zen, where if you see a cloud its a cloud, there is no other ideas like for example: it resembles my 4th grade teacher; whilst a Romantic thinker goes deeper and eventually would associate a cloud with his 4th grade thinker.

It's the same with dreams & ideals. Classical thinkers seem to have more down to earth aims in life as in get a job, get a house, get married, have kids, drive a car around, die and that's it, whilst romantic thinkers have larger than life dreams and I guess its why some people get there.

What is really YOUR aim in life? What makes you feel good? Is it being a Rock Star? Or is it being with your wife drinking wine? What is your Pride? I would really appriciate if YOU left your dream/aim/pride or what ever it is that u aspire for in life, I really wanna know.
